Zahra Rana

PhD Researcher

Mini Eggs, Doughnuts, Instagram, Naps, Holidays, a new obsession with making Food Videos and Low-cost, Non-Platinum Electrocats for Fuel Cells. That about sums Zahra up.

Zahra graduated from the University of St Andrews with a Masters in Chemistry. During this time she also spent a year working in the Fuel Cell R&D sector at SINTEF in Norway.

Deciding to tackle some of the high costs in making fuel cells commercial, she joined the EIL to start a PhD in low-cost fuel cell catalysts.

You can often find her hunched over an RDE hoping her latest catalyst creation will take over the world.
