Dina Ibrahim

Teaching fellow

Dina is originally from Lebanon. She majored in Chemical Engineering at the American University of Beirut before continuing her higher studies and getting her Master’s degree in UCL. Her research focused on Material Science and polymer making. She couldn’t refuse the PhD position offered to her in the same research area conjugated with energy conservation and storage. When not studying, you can always find her deep into a jar of Nutella, watching football or reading about it. If not? Then she’s definitely trying her best not to buy every piece of nice clothing in sight, or pretending to expertly discuss politics. Which she knows everything about, of course.

Dina’s research focuses on manufacturing functionalised nanocomposite papers to be used as the gas diffusion layer part of the fuel cell to enhance electrochemical energy conversion and storage.
